teleSUR thanked Radio del Sur for the recognition and congratulated the team of the station on its sixteenth anniversary and work during these years.
This Wednesday, February 26, La Radio del Sur presented an award to the “Puentes Informativos” (Informative Bridges) Podcast, co-produced by the Sputnik and teleSUR media platforms, as part of the station’s 16th anniversary celebrations.
Via streaming, the podcast has consolidated its international presence, reaching a weekly audience of approximately 6,000 to 7,000 users.

A product of the co-production between teleSUR and the Sputnik news agency, this acclaimed podcast’s central mission is to inform and analyze interregional relations.
The program offers a comprehensive view of current international affairs, examining the internal developments of nations and the implications of their relationships in the political sphere. The synergy between the two entities maximizes its reach, connecting with diverse audiences in both regions.
During the commemoration, teleSUR thanked La Radio del Sur for the recognition, and also extended its congratulations to the station and its team on its sixteenth anniversary and for their work over the years. Nieves Valdez, head of La Radio del Sur, thanked Patricia Villegas Marin, president of teleSUR, for her constant support of the station and the radio medium.

Since its founding, La Radio del Sur has integrated communication across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and other regions. It was created by the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution, Commander Hugo Chavez Frias, and is currently directed by journalist Nieves Valdez.
Among the countries with the largest audiences are Costa Rica, Argentina, and Benin in Africa. Furthermore, it registers significant progress in the border area of ​​the state of Tachira with Colombia and in the territory of Guayana Esequiba.
